Who We Are

Positioning

Establish Gameday Custom Cleats as the leading brand for custom athletic footwear and player self-expression.

Mission

Provide an alternative to boring, traditional designs from the powerhouse brands — bringing personality and unique self-expression to athletes from every background and level.

Belief

Expression and confidence create champions. When an athlete looks their best, they play their best.

Brand Mantra “The best always look the part.”
Identity

Logo Suite

Primary Lockup — Icon + Wordmark

The default lockup for headers, apparel, business cards, and any wide-format placement. Use the two-tone navy version on light backgrounds; switch to the steel or white version as the background darkens.

Emblem — Shield Icon Only

The GC shield stands alone for tight spaces: social avatars, favicons, hang tags, and as a stamp on the shoe itself. Pick the tone with the most contrast against its background.

Clear Space & Minimum Size

Keep clear space equal to the height of the shield's star band on every side — no text, edges, or competing marks inside that zone. Never scale the emblem below 24px / 0.25in; below that, drop to the icon-only mark rather than shrinking the full lockup.

Usage Rules

Do

  • Use the navy or deep-navy mark on white/light backgrounds.
  • Use the white or steel mark on navy, black, or photo backgrounds.
  • Maintain the shield's proportions when scaling.
  • Give the mark generous clear space.

Don't

  • Stretch, skew, or rotate the shield or wordmark.
  • Recolor the mark outside the approved palette.
  • Place navy-on-navy or steel-on-steel (low contrast).
  • Add drop shadows, outlines, or bevels.
Visual System

Color Palette

A single monochromatic navy scale, lightest to darkest. It's deliberately restrained — the range does the work of hierarchy, contrast, and mood without introducing competing hues.

Primary Navy#2E427246 · 66 · 114
Deep Navy#10255416 · 37 · 84
Ink Navy#0313363 · 19 · 54

Primary Navy — #2E4272

The workhorse brand color. Used in the logo itself, primary UI accents, links, and any single-color application on light backgrounds.

Ink Navy — #031336

Reserved for body text, maximum-contrast logo lockups, and dark backgrounds/sections that need to feel weighty.

Steel Blue — #9099AF

The go-to for marks and type sitting on top of navy — keeps the logo legible on dark surfaces without jumping to white.

Mid & Deep Navy — #586990 / #102554

Supporting tones for gradients, borders, hover states, and layered depth — not for logo use, but great for backgrounds and UI texture.

Typography

Display / Headlines Apotek — Bold
Look The Part
Body Copy Eurostile — Regular

Every cleat should be instantly recognizable as Gameday — through consistent craft, a signature stamp, and a story worth telling. Body copy stays clean and direct so the product and the athlete stay the focus.

Accent / Labels / Captions IBM Plex Mono — Medium
EST. GAMEDAY / NO. 07 / CUSTOM BUILD
Production note: This page is wired to the Gameday Adobe Fonts kit (yta6jmm) for Apotek, Eurostile, and IBM Plex Mono. Adobe Fonts kits are domain-locked, so Apotek and Eurostile will only render on domains added to that kit — confirm your Cloudflare production domain is on the kit's website list in Adobe Fonts. Until then (including in previews like this one), the page falls back to Poppins and Titillium Web so the hierarchy still reads correctly. IBM Plex Mono loads either way — it's included in the kit and also open-source via Google Fonts.

In The Wild

The same emblem, held to the same standard, wherever an athlete or a fan actually sees it — stamped on the product and standing in as the social avatar.
